WESTFIELD – Lewis H “Harlow” Pomeroy Jr., of Westfield died Sunday, February 3, 2013 in Westfield. He was born in Westfield on April 27, 1961 to Lewis H. and Shirley (Bartlett) Pomeroy. Harlow attended local schools in Westfield graduated from Westfield Vocational High School with interest in construction tech in 1980. He was a partner and operator of the Pomeroy Farm and co-founder of Pomeroy Sugar House in Westfield. Harlow was a member of the Westfield Fair Association, the Massachusetts Maple Producers Association, an active 4-H supporter a member of the Farm Bureau, the Cabot Coop and a lifetime member of the National Holstein Assoc.He was the widower of Deborah (Pike) Pomeroy who died on September 11, 1998. Harlow leaves his children, Randy H. Pomeroy and Rachel A. Pomeroy both of Westfield and his parents, Lewis and Shirley Pomeroy of Westfield. He also leaves a brother, James Pomeroy of Westfield and a sister, Pamela Anderson of Huntington.
The funeral will be Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 8:15 p.m. at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will be Private. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
