WESTFIELD – Raymond G. Cook, 94, of Westfield died Monday March 4, 2012 in a local nursing home. He was born in Westfield on March 24, 1918 to Raymond and Alice (Moody) Cook.
He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and was a member of American Legion Post 124, and VFW Post 1847 in Westfield and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. Raymond was employed as a machine repairman for Columbia Manufacturing in Westfield.
He leaves a sister, Alice Dawicki of Westfield; two nieces, Carol Cortis of Russell and Kristine Mazinski of Westfield and two nephews, Edwin Larrabee and Eric Cook both of Montgomery. Raymond was predeceased by a brother, William Cook and a sister, Dorothy Larrabee.
Funeral and burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are omitted.
