WEST SPRINGFIELD – Mark J. Sanville, 55 of West Springfield, passed away July 15, 2013 at home after a brief illness. Mark was born in Westfield, MA son of the late Harold and Jane (Humphreville) Sanville.Mark graduated from St. Mary’s High School and attended Westfield State College. Mark worked in the Holyoke Medical Center Emergency Room. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and Boston Red Sox fan. Mark will be remembered for his valiant effort in carpentry.
Mark is survived by three sons, Andrew Sanville and his wife Chelsea of Colorado, Robert and his wife Dr. Julie Sanville of Springfield, and James Sanville of West Springfield; his longtime companion Joanne Kennedy, with whom he lived; four sisters, Sally Ascolillo and her husband Victor of Westfield, Alice Deery of Westfield, Nancy Kennedy and her husband James of Southampton, and Bette Babinski and her husband Peter of Westfield. Mark also leaves many nieces and nephews.
In honoring Mark’s wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
