2:27 a.m.: suspicious person, South Maple Street, a caller reports his friend jumped out of his car after an argument and he is concerned because the woman recently left a detox program and he is afraid she will relapse, the man said that woman is the subject of outstanding warrants, the woman was found in the area, Ashley Erin Rising, 29, of 10 Washington Street was arrested on a warrant, during the booking process she was found to be in possession of prescriptive medication in a bottle bearing another person’s name and she was also charged with possession of a Class E drug;
6:58 a.m.: assist citizen, Jeremy Lane, a caller reports his father locked his keys in his vehicle which is occupied by a dog, the responding firefighters report entry was gained;
8:40 a.m.: found property, Westfield Police Department, 15 Washington St., a cellphone was found in the police department lobby but efforts to locate the owner were unsuccessful, the phone was stored for safe keeping;
9:51 a.m.: vandalism, Shannon Lane, a resident reports via the online reporting option that her vehicle was egged and the rear window was gouged;
10:12 a.m.: city ordinance violation, Loomis Street, a patrol officer reports he inspected a property where there were several unregistered motor vehicles;
10:23 a.m.: larceny, Washington Street, a Wilmington resident reports via the online reporting option that that her wallet was stolen while she was attending a party at a Washington Street residence;
11:39 a.m.: suspicious phone call, Hampden Street, a resident came to the station to report an attempt to defraud him, the responding officer reports the complainant said that he got a phone call from a person who claimed that a relative had damaged his property in an accident and demanded restitution, the complainant said that the caller’s claim had no basis in fact;
1:29 p.m.: larceny, Aldrich Drive, a resident came to the station to complain that his manual wheelchair was stolen, the responding officer reports the complainant said that the theft occurred several days earlier but he did not immediately report it because he assumed that neighborhood children had taken the wheelchair and that it would surface eventually;
2:06 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Court Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
8:11 p.m.: arrest, North Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he encountered a male party believed to be the subject of an outstanding warrant, the warrant was confirmed, Steven P. Bilodeau, 43, of 27 Collins St., was arrested on the warrant;
8:26 p.m.: breaking and entering, Madison Street, a caller reports her son’s apartment was broken into and property was stolen, the responding officer reports a window was found to be open but there were no signs of forcible entry.
