How the mighty has fallen.
Well, my great opening week is but a distant memory as I quickly came crashing back to earth with a record of 8-6 in Week 2.
One local entrant, Donna Johnson, of Southwick was out of this world with a stellar 14-0 mark. In fact, a total of 58 contest participants had a record of 9-5 or better to earn an entry into the grand prize drawing.
Week 3 presents many challenges, including our hometown Pats (2-0) waging battle against a desperate 0-2 Bucs squad Sunday in Gillette. It may be a close shave.
In other marquee games: Green Bay travels to Cincinnati, defending champs Baltimore hosts Houston, Atlanta plays at the upstart 2-0 Dolphins, and Luck meets Kaepernick and the 49ers.
