1:36 a.m.: disturbance, Perkins Street, a caller reports her neighbors are involved in a disturbance, the responding officer reports he arrived to find a couple engaged in a heated altercation with the female party destroying property while the man was attempting to restrain her, the officer found that the furnishings in the residence were in complete disarray, when the man left, the woman objected and followed him outside yelling profanities despite the fact she was lightly dressed and there had been about a two-inch snowfall, the woman declined to become calm and quiet, Erica C. Hoenig, 24, of 20 Perkins St., was arrested for disorderly conduct;
2:47 a.m.: assist other police department, Scanlon Hall, Westfield State University, 577 Western Ave., WSU police request assistance in reference to damage to a student owned car which was apparently inflicted while it was parked on Church Street, the officer spoke with the owner who said that she had been visiting a friend for about two hours on Church Street and found her car had been vandalized when she returned, the woman said that because she had to take friends home she drove back to campus before reporting the damage, the officer reports that two tires had been slashed and the side mirrors had been broken;
4:00 a.m.: disturbance, Orange Street, a caller reports a person with whom he has an off-again, on-again relationship is at his residence and is not welcome, the responding officer reports the caller said that the woman attacked him while he was in bed and showed the officer minor injuries and broken eyeglasses, Amy L. Ober, 45, of 27 Orange St., was arrested for assault and battery in a domestic relationship;
8:28 a.m.: disturbance, Colonial Pine Acres, 50 Southampton Road, a caller reports a male party is in possession of her child and will not surrender him to her, the responding officer reports that the woman was complaining about a dispute with her brother with whom she is staying, the officer found that the woman had been served ‘No trespassing’ orders for the complex, the caller and her children were provided a courtesy transport to the station to await a ride and she was advised that a criminal complaint would be filed, the Department of Children and Families was notified of the incident;
11:30 a.m.: forgery, East Main Street, a caller from an East Main Street pharmacy reports a customer presented a prescription which appears to be fraudulent, the responding officer reports the customer was advised that the prescription could not be confirmed, the man took the prescription back and left the area;
3:57 p.m.: assist other agency, Reservoir Road, a resident came to the station to surrender a license to carry firearms and a container of mace after representatives of another jurisdiction requested that her right to carry firearms be suspended;
4:26 p.m.: Maplewood Avenue, a caller reports that a man exposed himself to her, the responding officer reports the caller said that she was turning on to Maplewood Avenue when a pedestrian crossed in front of her and then exposed his genitals to her, the officer reports a search of the area did not yield a suspect;
5:14 p.m.: assist motorist, Union Street, a resident came to the station to surrender an antique shotgun which she said she no longer wants;
7:24 p.m.: animal complaint, Union Street, a caller reports he has taken custody of a small brown dog found in the Union Street area, the dispatcher reports a check of the 2010 license tag the dog was wearing was unproductive, the man said that he would keep the dog until Monday when he will contact city animal control personnel;
11:13 p.m.: fraud, Little River Road, a caller said that her debit card was taken while she was at a Little River Road address and subsequently fraudulently used, the responding officer reports that the caller said that she had given her boyfriend the card and allowed him to withdraw $20 but he withdrew much more than that, the woman was advised to address her complaint in civil court.

1:07 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Park Square, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle operating erratically and stopped the vehicle at Park Square, the officer reports that the operator appeared to be intoxicated but declined a field sobriety test, Seth A. Arnold, 22, of 379 Granville Road, Southwick, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and speeding;
12:35 p.m.: larceny, East Main Street, a caller from an East Main Street sporting goods store reports a male party just stole a baseball cap valued at $30, the responding officer reports the suspect had left the store and was not found by an area search;
3:43 p.m.: fraud, Prospect Street, a caller reports his credit card was fraudulently used, the responding officer reports the man said that he had discovered that property was purchased with his card without his knowledge and shipped to a city address, the case remains under investigation;
4:09 p.m.: unwanted guest, Franklin Street, a caller from a Franklin Street bar reports an intoxicated customer will not leave, the responding officer reports he learned that the woman had been refusing to leave for an hour even though her friends had been encouraging her to do so, the woman was placed in protective custody;
5:53 p.m.: vandalism, Camelot Lane, a caller reports that a vehicle has driven over and through a traffic island at the end of the cul-de-sac, the responding officer reports he was told that the island is commonly maintained by the residents of the street and the sprinkler system installed could be damaged, the officer spoke with the owner of he suspect vehicle who admitted driving over the island and agreed to make restitution;
6:54 p.m.: accident, Court Street, a caller reports a vehicle went through a fence and struck her vehicle, the responding officer reports the crash did not result in injuries, the operator of the vehicle was deemed to be unable to drive safely and was placed in protective custody.
