RALEIGH, N.C. – The FC Stars West U12 girls’ soccer team recently completed a run to runners-up in the 2014 ASL Girls Shootout in North Carolina.
The team, which includes Westfield residents Emma and Chandler Pedolzky, and Catie Bean, opened the tournament with 1-0 wins over Pipeline (Md.), and SCU/MP 02 Elite (S.C.), the top-ranked teams in their respective states, and FCV United (Virginia).
FC Stars’ only loss came at the hands of the SDFC Rage (N.J.).
