WESTFIELD – Allen G. Piette, 94, (1929-2024) passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 at Renaissance on Cabot in Holyoke. He 
was born in Winchester, CT to the late Noe and Grace (Phillips) Piette and was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School.
Upon graduation, Allen served his country in the United States Air Force from December 11, 1950–December 10, 1954 and was honorably discharged as an airman second class. He was employed as a machinist for Kaman, PTM and lastly for Advance Manufacturing. Following his retirement, he worked for Meals on Wheels for 20 years. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and golf, going camping, spending time in Florida and Ogunquit, Maine and walking along the marginal way. Most of all he enjoyed time with his family. Allen also enjoyed working around the house and was an avid Red Sox and Patriot fan.
Allen is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Gladys H. (Holcomb) Piette, his loving children, Robert J. Piette and his wife Paula of Westfield, Denise M. Barrett and her husband Scott of Westfield and Suzanne M. Verrilli and her husband Joseph of Southington, CT, his cherished six grandchildren, Andrew Morris (Lacey), Stephanie Fyvie (Al), Jared Piette (Emily), Desire Piette (Ben), Nicole Verrilli (Christiaan) and Brian Verrilli (Elle) and seven great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his three siblings, Wilfred Piette, Evelyn Cwirka and Marion Cutter.
