Andrew J. Pac

SPRINGFIELD: Andrew J. Pac, 40, died suddenly, at home on Sunday, January 10, 2016. He was born in Holyoke on July 10, 1975. He grew up in Westfield attended local schools and was a 1994 graduate of Westfield High School. In high school he played lacrosse and was a co-captain of the football team. He played Little-League Baseball, youth soccer and Babe Ruth Baseball. Andy also played football for U Mass Lowell. He worked for the town of Agawam as Senior Building Maintenance and for the past few years he worked at the Agawam High School. He had enjoyed his time with the special needs students at the high school. Andy loved spending time with his family and friends and his Pug, Bart. He leaves his parents Joe and Patty Pac of Westfield, his fiancée Claire J. Rae of Springfield, and her parents Bob and Nancy Leland and Howard and Deborah Rae, his brother Benny Pac and his wife Lisa of Huntington, his aunts and uncles George and Nancy Goodniss of Westfield and their children Matthew, Bevin and Kara, Karen Pac of Somerset and her children Peter and Traci and Cliff Pac of Summerland Key, FL. He also leaves his godchild Emmylou, her parents Jonas and Sarah Haag and many cherished longtime friends. The funeral for Andy will be held on Saturday January 16th at 2 pm from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 3-7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the M.S.P.C.A., 350 South Huntington Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
