SOUTHWICK – Anne (Jackson) Vecchio, 95, of 30 Granville Road, a lifelong resident of this town, passed away peacefully, November 17, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born & educated in Southwick, Anne was the daughter of the late Alexander & Catherine (Wialy) Jackson.
Anne was the former assistant treasurer for the Town of Southwick, retiring after 25 years of employment. She was a former member of the Southwick Congregational Church, a past election worker at the Southwick polls, and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
She is survived by a son, Michael A. Vecchio and his wife Sue of Bradenton, FL, two grandchildren, Michael T. Vecchio of Southwick, MA, and Michelle Deslauriers and her husband Derrick of Agawam, MA, and two great-grandchildren, Dylan & Marissa. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Vecchio in 1992.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at the Southwick-Forastiere Funeral Home, 684 College Highway, Southwick, MA. Family & friends may gather at the funeral home prior to the service, from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
