Anthony “Tony” James Rogers, 89, of Rocky Hill, beloved husband of Anna (Miano) Finn Rogers, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018. Tony was born in Westfield, MA. the son of Anthony and Margaret (Walkowski) Rogers, and resided there until 1971 when he married Anna and moved to Rocky Hill, CT. He worked as a tool & die maker for Caval Tool prior to his retirement 24 years ago. In addition to his wife, Tony is survived by his children, Mary Lakoma and her husband John, Mark Rogers and his wife Karen, Anthony Rogers and his wife Penny, Judy Rogers and her husband Mark, Linda Emonds and her husband Richard, Sharon Finn and her husband Woody Anderson, and Eileen Finn. He also leaves nine grandchildren, Louis Wall, Christine Canfield, Lori DiBella, Julie Perry, Susan Evans Jones, Kassie Massie, Hannah, Callan, and Sophia Finn-McMahon; a brother, James Rogers and his wife Marcia and their children Kenneth and Gail; as well as nine great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two daughters Gloria and Deborah. A funeral service will be held on Thursday (January 18, 2018) at 12 Noon in the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 11 AM to 12 Noon just prior to the service.
