Antonia Beckwith

GRANVILLE – Antonia (Toni) Beckwith died peacefully at her house in Granville, MA, Monday July 20, 2020 in the company of family members and her loving husband of 71 years Edwin. Toni lived an exemplary life and was an eternal optimist for over 95 years. Throughout her life she was an unselfish individual as a loving wife, caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and to many people who knew her as a friend. Always giving back to the community where she lived for 71 years she was involved in many philanthropic committees in Granville…Heart fund, Bi Centennial Committee and was instrumental in the Granville Harvest Fair which continues to this day. As one of the founders of Hilltown Pork Inc. she watched and assisted a business started in 1980 to grow to a company that employee over 25 people many of whom are family members today. She was born in Southampton, MA February 3, 1925 with her identical twin sister Helen to Stanley Andreski and Mary (Zadrozny).

She was predeceased by 5 brothers John, Joseph, Stanley, Chester, Edward, and twin sister Helen (Lankowski). She leaves behind her loving husband Edwin A. Beckwith of Granville, MA, 3 sons Edwin S. (Cheryl) Granville, MA, Richard (Paula) Stephentown, NY, Robert and a daughter Mary Ellen of Granville, MA, also 3 very special nieces and nephew. Denis (Linda) Lankowski, Wilbraham, MA, Maria Lankowski, and Janice (Lankowski) Kelly of Westfield, MA. 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren who will miss nanny’s homemade soup and dill pickles.

Visiting hours will be Friday July 24th from 5 to 8 PM at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA. A Mass will be held Saturday July 25th at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 224 Sheep Pasture Road, Southwick, MA, 01077, at 11 AM.
