Bohdan J. Stefaniw

Stefaniw11TOLLAND – Bohdan J. “Bo” Stefaniw, 52, a fifteen year Tolland resident, formerly of Windsor, CT, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Noble Hospital. He was born in Hartford, CT on December 22, 1960, a son of Anna (Skoryk) Stefaniw of Minnesota and the late Andrew Stefaniw.
He attended Connecticut schools and was a graduate of Windsor High School and received an Associates Degree in architecture. Bo was employed at Advance Mfg. as a Quality Assurance Inspector for seven years. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his beloved family; fishing, skiing, boating, camping, NASCAR, and the NHRA.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of twenty five years, Nancy (Couturier) Stefaniw; his son, Bohdan N. Stefaniw of Tolland, and daughter, Kurissa L. Stefaniw and her fiancé Mike Bergen of Granville.  He also leaves two brothers; Andrew Stefaniw and his wife Carol of Florida, and Tony Skorek and his partner Cheryl Mertens of Niantic, CT, and his sister, Julia Buckingham and her husband Buck of Minnesota. He will be sadly missed by his beloved mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marcel and Marge Couturier and sister-in-law Michelle Fahy and her husband Dan as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 20 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 p.m. at the Legacy Funeral Home, 4 Princeton Street, Westfield.
