PITTSFIELD – The Westfield High School girls’ soccer team escaped Pittsfield with a narrow 1-0 win over Taconic on Wednesday.
Caroline Senecal notched the team’s only goal, the game-winner, in the 30th minute on a pass from Lindsay Stefano.
Jules Sharon (2 saves) and Celina Nunez (3 saves) combined for the shutout in net for Westfield (1-0). Sharon played the first half; Nunez the second.
