WESTFIELD – The Westfield High School boys’ volleyball team zipped through its latest contest, quickly dispatching the Belchertown Orioles, 25-11, 25-16, 25-15 Tuesday.
Drew Majka (5 kills), Dan Charvat (5 kills, 3 blocks), and Andy Jacques (17 assists) contributed for Westfield. The Bombers, whose only losses came against Agawam and Ludlow, improved to 8-2.
It was the first of a 3-day stretch of games, which includes a road matches against Commerce (Wednesday) and Minnechaug (Thursday). Both contests are slated to start at 4 p.m.
