WESTFIELD – Westfield’s Matt Bonsall had a hand in nearly half of his team’s 15 goals, and the Bombers’ boys’ lacrosse team went on to score eight of the game’s last nine goals en route to a 15-8 win over visiting East Longmeadow Friday.

Bonsall (6 goals, 1 assist), Chris Ward (4 goals), Max Maggipinto (1 goal, 5 assists), Ryan Metcalf (2 goals, 1 assist), Landon Reyes (2 goals, 1 assist), and Kohl Lunardi (1 assist) provided the scoring punch for Westfield.
Lunardini was also instrumental in his team’s victory, winning 18 of 24 faceoffs and helping to clear the ball routinely against East Longmeadow.
Mitch Weiss, Gavin Carzello, Zach Cree, and Kris Meneses helped form a solid defensive front for Westfield. Bombers’ goalie Ryan Reed finished with seven saves.
Westfield improved to 5-3 overall.
