SOUTHWICK – Calvin J. Arnold, 89, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013. He was born in Westfield, MA to the late Fred and Elizabeth (Stetson) Arnold and was a graduate of Westfield High School.He served in the United States Army during World War II from 1942-1945. Calvin owned and operated C.J. Arnold and Company Tobacco Farm in Southwick.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Helen (Jemilo) Arnold in 2005 and his son, Calvin J. Arnold, Jr. in 2008. Calvin is survived by his children, Diane M. King of Somers, CT, Dwight H. Arnold and Stuart S. Arnold, both of Southwick and 5 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick. Burial will be in the spring in the Southwick New Cemetery, College Highway, Southwick. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
