On Mondays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. children of all ages are learning how to create art at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield. The program, Art Smartz, teaches youth members different art form techniques including charcoal, multicolor images, watercolors, mixed media, monochromatic, acrylics, oil pastels and collages. The Club’s education coordinator, Blair Tomaino says she encourages the children to use art as an outlet to express themselves.
