Members of the Episcopal Church of the Atonement from gather with The Rev. Nancy Webb Stroud to present a check for $3000 to Connie Kelly of Greater Westfield Free Health Services.  GWFHS was chosen as the beneficiary of the 2012 Strawberry Festival, an annual benefit dinner given by the church. GWFHS provides a free clinic the first and third Wednesday evenings of the month at their Arnold Street office, providing medical services, outpatient referrals and help in applying for Mass Health and purchasing prescriptions.
2013 brings the 150th Strawberry Festival, one of a series of Sesquicentennial celebrations of the life of the Church of the Atonement in Westfield.  Local non-profit agencies are encouraged to submit grant applications for next year’s event. The paperwork will be available at the Church during Colonial Harvest Day on September 29th — or stop by the Church Office at 36 Court Street any weekday between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm.  The deadline for grant applications is November 15.  The 150th Annual Strawberry Festival Benefit Dinner will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013.
