Benjamin L. Kuta, 25, of 8 Ethan Ave., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50.
Kerry Friend, 39, of 32 Highland View St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of larceny of property valued more than $250 by a single scheme brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. She was assessed $90 and ordered to pay $235.79 in restitution
Manolie G. Underwood, 20, of 8 Pierce St., Greenfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $350, ordered to complete a Driver Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $957.76 and his license was suspended for 210 days. He was found to be not responsible for a charge of speeding and a marked lanes violation.
Michelle A. Galetta, 35, of 126 Union St., was released on her personal recognizance pending a May 28 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise brought by Westfield police.
Dennis Blair, 38, of 19 Shepard St., saw charges of possession of a Class D substance with intent to distributed (a subsequent offense) and possession of a Class D substance with intent to distributed (a subsequent offense) brought by Westfield police dismissed after he was indicted and arraigned for the same offenses in superior court.
Alexander Matos, 37, of 426 Carew St., Springfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50, found to be responsible for a charge of speeding and was assessed an additional $155.
Thomas John Costello, 47, o4 48 Sergeant St., Chicopee, was released on his personal recognizance pending a May 14 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker brought by State Police.
Ronald Hawley II, 30, of 153 Main St., was released on $1,000 personal surety pending a May 12 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of distribution of a Class A drug brought by Westfield police.
Savuth Vith, 26, of no fixed address in Westfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct brought by Westfield police.
