William Thompson Jr., 38, of 65 Glenwood Drive, Westfield, appeared in court on charges of disorderly conduct and assault and battery stemming from a June 15 incident. Thompson plead with an admission to sufficient facts and was assessed a $100 fine.

William James, 49, of 129 Root Road, Westfield, appeared in court for charges stemming from a June 14 traffic stop. James was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license for operating under the influence. While the state chose not to prosecute for the former charge, James will be due back in court again October 2 for the latter.

William Velasquez of 627 A Russell Road, Westfield, was arraigned on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon stemming from a August 11 incident. He was released on personal recognizance after putting up $500 bail. Velasquez is due back in court October 2.

Joseph Sparveri III of 16 Federal Avenue, Agawam, was arraigned in court on one charge of leaving the scene of property damage in Westfield on June 20. Sparveri was released on personal recognizance and entered a plea of admission to sufficient facts, and was forced to pay $250 in fees.

Daniel Santiago, 33, of 33 Montgomery Street, Westfield, was arraigned on one charge of the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on August 12. He was released on personal recognizance, entering a plea of admission to sufficient facts, and was forced to pay $500 in fines.

Ashley Medina, 28, of 131 College Street, Chicopee, appeared in court on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence and a motor vehicle lights violation in Westfield. Medina was released on personal recognizance and plead to admission of sufficient facts. She was given a year of probation and was forced to pay $65 per month during that time. Medina is due back in court on December 12 for a status review of payments.

Wayne Matthews, 50, of 16 South Longyard Road, Southwick, was arraigned on Tuesday on one count of larceny over $250 from a disabled person over 60 years of age on June 17. Lapierre was released on his personal recognizance, and was ordered to have no contact and to stay away from the victim of the crime.
