Michael Pellegrini, 43, of 5 Norwood Place, was placed on pretrial probation for one year and ordered to pay restitution of $720 after he was arraigned on a charge of malicious destruction of property valued more than $250 brought by Westfield police.
Mark A. Nikiel, 38, of 8 Conner Ave., pleaded guilty to three charges of shoplifting merchandise valued more than $100 by asportation and two charges of trespass brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to three concurrent one year terms in the house of correction, suspended, with probation for one year. He was assessed $50. In a separate case also brought by Westfield police. Nikiel also pleaded guilty to a charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise and was fined $125. He was again assessed $50.
Rey Augustine, 28, of 24 Bartlett Street, was released on $500 cash bail pending a Jan. 31, 2012, hearing after he was arraigned on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault and battery on a police officer brought by Westfield police.

Garret Baker, 18, of 25 E. Bartlett St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of impersonating a police officer and using a badge without authority brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for three months. He was assessed $50.
Mark A. Nutting, 39, of 11 Noble Ave., pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and assault and battery brought by Westfield police and was fined $250. He was assessed $50.
Robert M. Maynard Jr., 31, of 104 Rogers Ave., pleaded guilty to two charges of assault and battery brought by Westfield police and was placed on probation for one year. He was assessed $50.
Corey L. Brantley, 39, of 190 Essex St., Indian Orchard, pleaded guilty to charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, failure to stop or yield and for being a motor vehicle operator who refuses to identify himself brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a six month term in the house of correction with credit for time served. He was assessed $50.
Steven M. Raskauskas, 17, of 92 Meadow Street, was ordered to make no threats or violence toward a witness and was released on his personal recognizance pending a Feb. 15, 2012 hearing after he was arraigned on three charges of vandalizing property brought by Westfield police.
Jose G. Arzola, 36, of 180 Main St., was found not guilty by a jury of a charge of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 years-of-age or older brought by Westfield police.

Joseph F. Zucco, 39, of 2 Pine St., Huntington saw charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle not prosecuted when he provided the court with proof that his license was valid and insurance was in effect on the date of the offense.
Kyle R. Betters, 21, of 115 Spadina Parkway, Pittsfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $350, ordered to complete a Drug Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $817.22 and his license was suspended for 45 days. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was not prosecuted.
