Jesus Torres-Vega, 35, of 103 High St., Holyoke, saw charges of putting a person in fear by entering in the nighttime, larceny from a building and malicious destruction of property valued more than $250 brought by Westfield police dismissed after he was arraigned and indicted on the same charges in superior court.
Angel L. Vazquez, 23, of 28 Wendell Place, Springfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding and dismissed upon payment of fees and assessments totaling $100. He was found to be responsible for a charge of speeding in violation of special regulations and was assessed $100.
Anthony J. Montagna, 41, of 6 Sackett St., saw a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police dismissed at the request of the victim when she asserted her marital privilege and refused to testify.
Luis A. Serrano, 51, of 42 Blodgett St., Springfield, was held in lieu of $500 cash bail pending a July 12 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a subsequent offense, brought by Westfield police.
Candida R. Peralta, 44, of 411 East St., New Britain, Conn., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police and she was assessed $50 and fined $50. She was found to be responsible for a charge of failure to stop or yield and was assessed $100.
Justin M. Allen, 23, of 26 Pineywood Road, Southwick, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of improper use of a credit card and larceny of property valued less than $250 brought by Southwick police and the charges were continued without a finding for a year. He was assessed $100. In a separate case also brought by Southwick police, Allen submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of assault and battery and was again placed on probation for a year. He was assessed an additional $50.
David G. Gauthier, 42, of 25 Fox Hill Drive, was released on his personal recognizance pending an Aug. 14 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of assault and battery and intimidating a witness brought by Westfield police.
Jose A. Acevedo, 45, of 126 Union St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding and dismissed upon payment of fees and assessments totaling $100.
