Paul J. Russell, 32, of 669 Main St., Apt. 2, Granville, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle brought by Southwick police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for nine months. He was assessed $300 and found to be not responsible for charges of failure to notify the RMV of a name or address change, speeding in violation of the posted limit and a marked lanes violation. Charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and intimidating a witness, police officer or court official were not prosecuted.

Christine Clark, 49, of 54 Grattan St., Chicopee, was held in lieu of $50 cash bail pending a Dec. 14 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of possession of heroin brought by State Police.

Eric C. Silenga, 36, of 92 Susan Drive, Westfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Southwick police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $600 and his license was suspended for 45 days. He was found to be not responsible for charges of possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and speeding at a rate exceeding the posted limit and a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was not prosecuted.

Michael R. Beresford, 63, of 45 Rosewood Lane, Southwick, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Feb. 8 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of assault and battery, assault and battery on a victim 60 years-of-age or older with injury and intimidating a witness brought by Southwick police.

Austin T. Norris, 20, of 210 Lockhouse Road, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 25 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, speeding at a rate exceeding the posted limit and resisting arrest brought by State Police.

Nadine C. Robinson, 41, of 5 King Ave., Westfield, was released on her personal recognizance pending a March 11 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker and a seatbelt violation brought by State Police.

Eric J. Voudren, 43, of 15 Ashley St., Apt. 1, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 29 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery on a family or household member brought by Westfield police.
