Ronald P. Gelinas, 59, of 99 Union St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $300 and found to be not responsible for a marked lanes violation. A charge of operating under the influence of liquor was not prosecuted.
Edward M. Leal, 44, of 968 Russell Road, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 17, 2013, hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and a marked lanes violation brought by State Police.
Randal J. Yarmesky, 35, of 42 Arnold St., was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 18, 2013, hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a subsequent offense, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police.
Michele Marcucci, 38, of 2133 Third Ave., Watervliet, N.Y., was released on $300 cash bail pending a Dec. 19 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of attempting to commit a crime brought by Westfield police.
Oliver S. Megele, 48, of 375 Canon Cir., Springfield, was held in lieu of $1,000 cash bail after he was arraigned on charges of assault and battery, indecent assault and battery, vandalizing property and attempting to commit a crime brought by State Police.
Brien Demartino, 36, of 942 State St., Schenectady, , N.Y., was held in lieu of $500 cash bail pending a Dec. 19 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of attempting to commit a crime brought by Westfield police.

Michael T. Doyle, 20, of 58 Arnold St., was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 18, 2013, hearing after he was arraigned on charges of vandalizing property and resisting arrest brought by Westfield police.
Brandon N. Simmitt, 23, of 19 Robinson Drive, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 17, 2013, hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield police.
Luke J. Smith, 20, of 2 Grace Terrace, Medway, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 18, 2013, hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of disorderly conduct brought by Westfield police.
Edward Wheeler, 48, of 93 Russellville Road, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 18, 2013, hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police.
Nicholas R. Cote, 23, of 549 Russell Road, was released on $2,500 personal surety pending a Jan. 25, 2013, hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of unarmed robbery brought by Westfield police.
Kevin R. Reno, 25, of 17 Maple St., pleaded guilty to a charge of distribution of a Class B drug brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a one year term in the house of correction, suspended, with probation for one year. He was assessed $90, ordered to pay a $150 drug analysis fee and ordered to remain drug free and be subject to random testing. A drug violation near a school or park was not prosecuted.
Maximillian T. Clark, 22, of 33 Washington St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding and dismissed upon payment of fees and assessments totaling $100. He was found to be responsible for a charge of speeding in violation of special regulations.
James R. Younis, 21, of 31 Batchelder Road, Reading, was placed on pretrial probation for one month and assessed $50 after he was arraigned on a charge of disorderly conduct brought by Westfield police. A charge of assault and battery was dismissed the request of the alleged victim.
