Airek Douglas, 20. OF 18 Bretton Road, Springfield, was found to be responsible for a charge of disorderly conduct brought by Westfield police and was assessed $50.
Kayla R. Bolio, 20, of 40 Montgomery Road, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of making a false application for a motor vehicle license brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for nine months. She was assessed $90. A charge of assisting a person younger than the legal drinking age purchase liquor was not prosecuted.
Nicholas L. Krzanowski, 34, of 160 Point Grove Road, Southwick, saw charges of assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon and using a motor vehicle without authority brought by Southwick police dismissed when the alleged victim asserted Fifth Amendment protection. In a separate case brought by Agawam police, Krzanowski pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and was fined $650 and assessed $50. A charge of receiving a stolen motor vehicle was not prosecuted.
Michael P. Linnell, 27, of 7 Free Street, pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny of property valued more than $250 brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a year in the house of correction with time already served to be considered direct and the balance suspended with probation for one year concurrent with probation imposed in a second case. He was assessed $90 and ordered to pay $590 restitution. In a separate case brought by Agawam police, Linnell pleaded guilty to charges of breaking and entering a building in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony and larceny of property valued more than $250 and received the same sentence. He was assessed an additional $90 and ordered to pay restitution of $700.
Gregory P. Harris, 19, of 77 High St., Agawam, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of breaking and entering with intent to commit a misdemeanor and trespass brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50.
Nicholas A. Thurman, 29, of 16 Dudley Ave., pleaded guilty to a charge of distribution of a Class B drug brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to 90 days in the house of correction with credit for time served awaiting trial. He was assessed $90 and ordered to pay a $300 drug analysis fee.
David L. Mosher, 51, of 131 Main St. Russell, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $600, ordered to complete a Drug Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $817.22 and his license was suspended for 45 days. He was found to be not responsible for a charge of speeding and a marked lanes violation.
David J. Mitchell, 31, of 285 Elm St., was found to have violated probation imposed when he pleaded guilty to a charge of malicious damage to a motor vehicle and was sentenced to a six-month term in the house of correction. He pleaded guilty to new charges of trespass brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to 30 days to be served concurrently with the other sentence.
Keith E. Hopkinson, 38, of 194 Regency Park, Agawam, saw charges of operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle not prosecuted due to insufficient evidence.
Gregory E. Hefty, 32, of 6 Belmont St., pleaded guilty to a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a one year term in the house of correction with two months to be served direct with credit for time served and the balance suspended with probation for one year. He was enjoined for making any threats of violence toward the victim and was ordered to stay away, comply with all protective orders and remain alcohol free.
Derek Webb, 20, of 44 Mechanic St., pleaded guilty to a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a six-month term in the house of correction with credit for time served since Oct. 2. He was assessed $50.

Friday, Nov. 9, 2012
Kimberly S. Penirice, 44, of 50 Dartmouth St., saw charges of operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration brought by Westfield police not prosecuted due to insufficient evidence.
David G. McIntosh, 30, of 109 W. Morningside St., Hartford, Conn., was placed on pretrial probation for six months and order to pay fees, assessments and court costs totaling $2,000 after he was arraigned on charges of forgery of a credit card and larceny of property valued mort than $250 brought by Southwick police.
Kevin B. Ponti-Smith, 33, of 21 Gold St., saw charges of operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police not prosecuted due to insufficient evidence.
Martin C. Madrid, 54, of 361 Southampton Road, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding and dismissed upon payment of fees and assessments totaling $100.
Ruslan Stepanchuk, 20, of 54 Cooley St., Agawam, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 2, 2013 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of being a person younger than the legal drinking age in possession of liquor brought by Westfield police.
Michael L. Oberther, 36, of 385 Worthington St., Springfield, , was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 2, 2013 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield police.

Stephanie L. Gay, 20, of 25 Sharon Lane, Feeding Hills, was released on $1,000 personal surety pending a Jan. 31, 2013, hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of unarmed robbery brought by Westfield police.
