Steve P. DeGrange, 37, of 12 Park St., pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated assault and battery brought by Southwick police and was sentenced to a one year term in the house of correction, suspended, with probation for two years. He was assessed $90.
Roman Shtyba, 21, of 111 Miller St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a city ordinance violation (being a person younger than the legal drinking age in possession of alcohol) brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding and dismissed upon payment of fees and assessments totaling $100.
Linda E. Kelso, 27, of 14 Laurell Road, Huntington, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of assault and battery brought by State Police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for three months. She was assessed $50 and ordered to pay restitution of $140.51.
Felix Flores, 19, of 126 Union St., saw a charge of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 years-of- age or older not prosecuted when the Commonwealth indicated that an attempt would be made to indict the man in superior court.
Deirdre F. Webb, 44, of no fixed address in Westfield, saw a charge of larceny of property valued more than $250 brought by Westfield police not prosecuted. In a second case also brought by Westfield police, Webb saw charges of larceny of property valued more than $250 and larceny from a person 65 years-of-age or older not prosecuted.
Maxwell R. Peterson, 22, of 167 Fred Jackson Road, Southwick, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle brought by Agawam police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $300, not prosecuted for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and found to be not responsible for a marked lanes violation.
