Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012
Patrick D. Millar, 28, of 1172 Huntington Road, Russell, saw two charges of violation of a protective order brought by State Police dismissed after he was indicted and arraigned on the same charges in superior court.
Denise M. Barrett, 51, of 10 Clark Street, was released on her personal recognizance pending a Nov. 16 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of disorderly conduct brought by Westfield police.
Adam Carmel, 25, of 13 Sycamore, St., was ordered to have no contact with nor to make any threats or violence toward the alleged victim when he was released on his personal recognizance pending a Dec. 11 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of aggravated assault and battery brought by Southwick police.
Sean E. Parent, 36, of 6 Lozier Ave, was ordered to stay away from and to have no contact with the alleged victim when he was released on his personal recognizance pending a Nov. 15 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of assault and battery and larceny of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police.
Matthew J. Bush, 31, of 51 Yeoman Ave, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault and battery brought by Agawam police and was sentenced to a one-year term in the house of correction, suspended, with probation for two years. He was ordered to comply with all protective orders and to make no threats or violence toward the victim.
Gena Cordes, 45, of 83 Gloucester, was released on $500 cash bail pending a Nov. 21 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of shoplifting by asportation and larceny of property valued more than $250 brought by a Springfield Road department store. She was arraigned on a second charge of shoplifting by asportation brought by the same store and was again released on $500 cash bail.
Tyler G. Lyttle, 20, of 140 Russell Road, admitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of being a person younger than the legal drinking age in possession of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50.
Nicholas J. Rudzik, 19, of 1068 Shoemaker Lane, Feeding Hills, was found guilty of a charge of trespass brought by Westfield police.

Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012
Christopher J. Vandesteene, 30, of 401 Well Road, Becket, saw charges of breaking and entering in the daytime and putting a person in fear, vandalizing property, attempting to commit a crime and trespass brought by Southwick police dismissed after he was indicted on the same charges in superior court.
Christian R. Lent, 34, of 656 West Road, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Nov. 29 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon brought by Westfield police.
Jill A. Sampsel, 47, of 23 Clinton Ave., was enjoined from abuse of the alleged victim when she was released on her personal recognizance pending a Nov. 29 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police.
Scott G. Gogal, 45, of 35 Goss Hill Road, Huntington, admitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating under the influence of liquor brought by State Police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $300, ordered to complete a Drug Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $567 and his license was suspended for 45 days.
Michael Cooper, 46, of 29 Glen Dale Terrace, Springfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct and was fined $100. He was assessed $50.
