Robert H. McMullin III, 50, of 84 Royal St., Agawam, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50 and ordered to pay $215 in restitution.

Eduard Shvetsov, 51, of 152 Sumner Ave., Springfield, was released on $2,500 personal surety pending a Jan. 16 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of cruelty to an animal brought by Southwick police. See story in the Friday, Dec. 14, edition of The Westfield News.

Christopher A. Meyer, 25, of 20 Old Feeding Hills Road, Westfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield State University police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $600, his license was suspended for 45 days and he was found to be not responsible for a motor vehicle lights violation.

Roy V. Ramonas, 28, of 20 Murray Ave., Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a March 8 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operation a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a brakes violation and a lights violation brought by Agawam police. In a second case also brought by Agawam police but with an address of 61 St. James Ave. Springfield, Ramonas was again released on his personal recognizance pending a March 8 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault.
