Donald W. Baker, Jr.

Baker, Donald  younger 001WESTFIELD – Donald “Donnie” Wallace Baker, Jr., 51, passed away on August 7, 2013.  He was born in Westfield to the late Donald W. and Shirley L. (Drummond) Baker.
He was a 1980 graduate of Southwick High School. Donnie was employed as a machinist by KB Tool for many years and then went on to work for Rotondo Precast in Avon, Ct.  Donnie was well known as a skilled motorcycle rider and motocross racer. He had a great sense of humor and a love of nature and respect for animals. He was an avid fisherman and when he wasn’t riding or making you laugh you could find him casting a wiggly!  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Terry B. Aitchison and his sister, Deborah L. Aitchison. He leaves his two uncles, Gordon “Mike” Baker and his wife, Lois of Westfield and Paul “Skeg” Baker and his wife, Dot of Chicopee; his aunt, Phyllis Dance of  Wolcott, Ct; a nephew, Rodney Keenan, Jr. of  Florida; many cousins; and many close friends especially Todd Wescott and Mort Barnes.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, August 14th from 9:00-11:30 a.m. at Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA followed by a memorial service in the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. A committal service will follow at New Cemetery, Southwick.
