FEEDING HILLS – Donna M. Hooper, 55, of Feeding Hills, passed away suddenly Wednesday October 9, 2013 at her home. Born in Springfield to Patricia (Modzelewski) Hish and the late Alfred S. Hish, Sr., she was a longtime area resident.
Donna was a 1976 graduate of Southwick High School and was employed as a CNA at Heritage Hall Nursing Home. She previously was employed in the greater Springfield area as a bus driver for disabled children.
Besides her loving mother, Patricia, she is survived by her three children, Matthew Henry of New Hampshire, Scott Hooper of East Longmeadow and Christina Ramos of Worthington, MA; a brother, Alfred Hish, Jr. of Westfield; two sisters, Carol Besnia of Westfield and Joanne Hish of Ludlow; by seven grandchildren; her former husband Robert Hooper and by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her daughter, Theresa Hooper and by a nephew, Nicholas Besnia.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 14th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Southwick Forastiere, 624 College Highway. A graveside service will be Tuesday, October 15th at 12:00 Noon at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 800 Montgomery St., Chicopee, MA.
