Early voting will take place Aug. 22-28
SOUTHWICK/WESTFIELD – Voters will have the opportunity to cast their ballot in-person ahead of the Sept. 1 Primary Election.
Southwick Town Clerk Michelle Hill said early voting will take place in the Town Hall auditorium, 454 College Highway, beginning Aug. 22.
Hill said her office “will have extended hours for the residents of Southwick to engage in the opportunity to cast their vote early for the State Primary Election to be held on Sept. 1, 2020.”
Early voting will be Aug. 22 from 2 – 8 p.m. and will also be the last opportunity to register to vote in the Primary election. Other early voting times are Aug. 23 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Aug. 24-25 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Aug. 26 from 8:30 -6:30 p.m. and Aug. 27-28 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Hill said masks must be worn and social distancing guidelines will be in place.
In Westfield, early voting will begin Aug. 22 and end Aug. 28 for the primary. Voting will take place at Westfield Middle School Aug. 22 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Aug. 24-28 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Early voting for the Nov. 3 election will be Oct. 17-30, with hours to be determined.
