
WESTFIELD – Edward Kaslauskas, 88, died in Westfield, in a local nursing home on May 7th, 2026. He was born in Northampton on December 29th, 1937, to the
late Adam and Beatrice (Williams) Kaslauskas.
He grew up in Northampton and Westfield. He worked at Savage Arms Co. in Westfield for many years. He was a Gold Gloves fighter when he was younger and enjoyed magic clowns and being a magician. He was a Korean War veteran in the U.S. Army.
He leaves his daughter Sheila Williams of Westfield, grandchildren Kimberly Barton and her husband Jeff, John Williams, Jr. and Jennifer Williams and partner Anthony Orszulak, Sr., great-grandchildren Mathew, Josephine, Johny III, Ryland, Aiden, T.J. and Wade. Siblings Patricia Mathews of Southwick, Lynnwood Kaslauskas of Maine and Phyllis Smith of Westfield and great-great-grandson Carter.
He was pre-deceased by a great-grandson Gotham.
A service with military honors will be held at the Mass. Veterans Memorial Cemetery on May 26th at 3 p.m. Firtionadams.com
