Maitland, Florida_ Eleanor (Drake) Martin, age 90, (1927) passed away on January 23, 2018 at the Florida South Hospital, Orlando, Florida.
A resident of Southwick for many years, Eleanor was born in Hartford, Connecticut on Sept. 17, 1927; daughter of the late Albert Drake and Myrtle (Storey) Gravel. She was a graduate of Westfield High School.
Eleanor was a former member of Christ Church United Methodist Church in Southwick and a more recent member of First United Methodist Church in Westfield. She was a member of the Southwick Historical Society for many years. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Edward F. Martin and a brother, Albert Drake. She leaves a son and his wife, William and Deborah Martin of Carlisle, PA and a daughter, Susan Grabowski of Westfield; ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
Calling hours are 10:00AM to 12:00Noon on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in the Southwick Forastiere Family Funeral Home, 624 College Highway (Highway 10/202), followed by a memorial service at the same location. The First United Methodist Church in Westfield will host a reception for those who would like to gather for food and fellowship after the service.
