Southwick Public Library LEGO Clubs Meet in January: Southwick Public Library has two LEGO Clubs. Kids in grades 3-6 will meet on Thursday, January 10 at 3 p.m. Kids in kindergarten through grade 2 will meet on Wednesday, January 16 at 3:30 p.m. Have fun building what you want using our LEGOs or work on a special challenge each monthly session. Story Yoga for Kids Ages 2-5 at Southwick Public Library: Join us at Southwick Public Library for a special time on Tuesday, January 15 at 10:30-11:30 a.m. for Story Yoga. Listen to a story. Learn some yoga poses. Do a special yoga-related activity and make a craft. This hour-long program for 2-5 year olds helps children to manage their bodies, focus, relax and have fun. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Please pre-register for this program. This program is presented by Southwick Public Library and “Pathways for Parents.”

Southwick Public Library Offers Makerspace Monday: Learn how crystals are formed on January 14 at 3:00 p.m. at Makerspace Monday at Southwick Public Library. At this program we will talk about crystals, see some rock crystals and see how to make rock crystal candy. You will get to take home some candy crystal mix to make your own rock candy lollipop! Please register in the Children’s Room for this special event.

Saturday Storytime at Southwick Public Library: Children and their parents/caregivers are invited to come to the Children’s Room at Southwick Public Library on Saturday, January 12th at 11 o’clock to listen to stories about snow and snowmen as we celebrate the winter season together. We’ll have an easy craft that you can make and take home. There is no registration for this program.

Make a Snowman Craft at Southwick Public Library: Using craft sticks or construction paper, we will make a neat smiley snowman to hang up at home as a decoration. Materials will be available all week in the Children’s Room at Southwick Public Library January 28-February 2.
