Everett Brown

SPRINGFIELD – Everett was called home to our Heavenly Father on January 31, 2020. He went on his journey surrounded in love created by his circle of family and friends. Everett was born in Exeter New Hampshire to Beverly McGaughey and the late William F. Brown Jr. After the age of 21 Everett moved to Windsor, Connecticut where he worked at the Loomis Chaffee School, where he mastered his culinary art skills. After moving to Springfield, he worked the remainder of his career for 22 years at Glen Meadow Retirement community in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Everett was a kind and gentle man, quiet and reserved with a sense of humor that would show itself when least expected. He enjoyed the outdoors and nature most of all. He was an avid bowhunter, fisherman and enjoyed boating, carpentry, cooking and his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children Olivia and Amber Brown also his stepchildren, Brian and Joshua Allen, his beloved mother Beverly Tilley and his stepfather Merrill Tilley and their children of Hillsborough New Hampshire. His sister Holly Davis and her family. His brother Hunter John Tilley and his family. His uncle Joseph McGaughey, Aunt Bobbi and children. His sister Debra Brown. He leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews. He also leaves his hunting buddies to carry on their traditions. “Bubba” Brian Anderson, Scott Forney, John Murphy, Brian Labombard, Ralph Cocchi and Joe Wezniak.

Please join his family and friends in memory of Everett at Firtion Adams Funeral Home on Saturday February 8th from 1pm to 3pm. There will be short funeral service at the conclusion of the receiving hours. 76 Broad Street Westfield, Massachusetts 01085. Burial will be at the discretion of the family. There will be a memory box for his children and family for messages and memories for you to share about Everett.
