WESTFIELD — Westfield State University sophomore center Gabby Felix (Springfield/Commerce High School) was named the MASCAC women’s basketball player of the week.
Felix scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in last week’s 72-43 victory over Mount Ida College. She shot 7 for 14 from the field and made all four of her free throws.
The Owls return to action on Tuesday, Nov. 27, when then play at Emerson College in downtown Boston.
