Now that the byes are over, football is back in a big, big way.
While Thanksgiving Day should whet the appetite with Chicago-Detroit, Philly-Dallas, and San Fran-Seattle, there are still several marquee games on the docket for Sunday in our “Beat ‘The Putz'” pro football contest.
New England travels to Green Bay in a possible Super Bowl preview, playoff contenders Baltimore and San Diego collide, upstarts Cleveland and Buffalo meet, and the Saints travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers.
Our tiebreaker game features the Denver Broncos at Kansas City.
Congratulation to our Week 12 winner, Laurence Halla, who went 13-0 (along with two others) to best my 12-1 mark, and won out with a tiebreaker total of 49 points.
ED. NOTE – I’d like to thank our chief statistician, Melissa Hartman, for staying up late to finish tallying up our Week 12 results after the Bill-Jets game was moved to Monday night due to the historic snowfall in Buffalo. Happy Thanksgiving!
Halla perfect
