Hedwidge L. Magrath

SOUTH HADLEY: Hedwidge L. Magrath, died peacefully on Thursday, November 19th with her loving family by her side. She resided in South Hadley for most of her life and she was a very active communicant of St. Theresa’s Church. She was very giving of her time and was a volunteer at the South Hadley Council on Aging, Holyoke Medical Center Auxiliary and The Gaylord Library. She was involved with the South Hadley Choralites and Girl Scouts of America and enjoyed traveling, reading, music, crossword puzzles, bowling, gardening and bingo. She will be forever missed by her children, Adrian Magrath Jr and his wife Margaret of Amherst, Donna Sullivan and her husband Thomas of Westfield and Cynthia Magrath and her partner, Sara of Worthington along with her six grandchildren, Meagan, Sean, Devin, Michael, Colleen and Dillon and one great grandson, Finn. A Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, November 28th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church, 9 E. Parkview Dr. S. Hadley, please meet directly at the church. Calling hours will be on Friday, November 27 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St. Donations in her memory may be made to The South Hadley Council on Aging 45 Dayton St. S.
