James Manley

WESTFIELD – It is with very heavy heart we announce the passing of James “Jim” Manley (1943-2020) who passed away peacefully May 2, 2020 at Baystate Hospital due to Covid related complications. James born in Springfield MA to the late Raymond and Marion Manley. He grew up in West Springfield MA but resided in Westfield MA for over 50+ years. James was a tractor trailer driver for Sweet Life/Supervalu where he received several awards for his accident free/safe driving. He loved to spend as much time as possible with his family traveling, hunting, fishing and boating. James was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

James leaves behind his wife JoAnne (Cullison) Manley and 7 children. James R. Manley and his wife Carrie of Granville MA, Timothy R. Manley and his wife Laura of West Springfield, MA, Kimberly A. Robbins and her husband John of Enfield, CT, Shawn A. Manley and his wife Carrie of Enfield, CT, Jeffrey C. Manley of Westfield, MA, Rebecca J. Manley of Westfield, MA, Jessica R. Manley of Willington, CT. 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews all of whom he loved very much. He was predeceased by his three brothers William, Stephen and Donald Manley and two sisters Beverly Kerbs and Marlene Fortin.

A private funeral will be held. Firtion -Adams Funeral Home Westfield MA will be handling all the arrangements. A celebration of life party will be held at a later date by the family.
