WESTFIELD: Jane E. Ross, 90, (1930 – 2021) passed away on March 14, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Westfield, MA on August 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Almon and Ethel (Cady) Williams. She was a graduate of Westfield High School and a longtime communicant of the Second Congregational Church in Westfield.
After raising her family, she had worked in the Dietary Department at Westfield State College. She enjoyed camping, birdwatching and working around the house. Her passion was gardening. She also enjoyed visiting with her friends, neighbors and family.
Besides her parents, Jane was predeceased by her husband David A. Ross; her twin sister Jean; her brothers Burton and Lawrence and her favorite pet Suzie. To cherish her memory, she leaves her son David Ross and his wife Phyllis of Westfield; her grandchildren Christopher Cook, Jennifer DeMaio and Mindy Bollinger; her great-grandchildren Frankie, Nico and Brendan; her sister-in-law Bernice Williams, as well as her nieces and nephew Debbie Ross Bolinder, Deborah Woodford, Elizabeth Ross Hanson and Scott Ross.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11 AM in the Center Cemetery, Route 10 (College Highway), Southampton, MA.
