AGAWAM: Jonathan D. Towle, 45, of Agawam departed peacefully Tuesday Nov. 18, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Rockville, CT and grew up in Springfield and was a resident of Agawam. He was the owner and operator of JT Custom Woodworking in Agawam. Jonathan was also known as “Jon” and “JT” by his family and friends. Jon attended Springfield schools and was a graduate of Putnam High school where he discovered his love for the cabinetry trade which led to his lifetime career in custom wood working. Jon was an extreme perfectionist in his trade. Jon was an outdoorsman and often found his solitude by taking long hikes through the woods and picking up a rock or two. Jon loved riding his motorcycle with his friends and family. Jon’s greatest pleasure was the oasis that he built in his backyard. He will be deeply missed by his loving parents Bonnie and Brian Towle of Wilbraham, his brother Michael and his wife Lisa and their children Ryan, Jaelyn and Jordan of Westfield, his brother Brian Jr, and his wife Sandy and their children Brandon, Zachary and Nathan of Westfield. He will also be deeply missed by Christie Duclos his lifelong partner and best friend and many loving friends and relatives. The funeral service will be at Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. in Westfield, MA on Saturday Nov 22 at 2pm. Calling hours will be held prior to the service at the funeral home between 12 – 2PM immediately followed by the burial at Springfield Street Cemetery in Feeding Hills.
