WESTFIELD – Judge Philip A. Contant continued the case of two women who face drug charges stemming from a September traffic stop on Southwick Road, to Feb. 2, 2016 for a pretrial conference.
Angeline G. Pagano, 22, of 624 West Road and Selina Hine, 22, of 1430 Russell Road are both charged with trafficking more than 36 grams of cocaine, but less than 100 grams and with conspiracy to violate drug laws.

The women were released on a personal surety of $2,500 by Contant following their arraignment in Westfield District Court on Sept. 14, 2015. Pagano is represented by Attorney Kathleen A. Cavanaugh of West Springfield and Hine by Attorney Lawrence V. Allen of Springfield.
Pagano, Hine and Jacob A. Lisheness, 32, of Westfield were stopped in a vehicle operated by Hine on Southwick Road at 10:30 p.m. On Sept. 11, 2015 after city police received information the three were returning from Hartford where they had purchased cocaine.
Westfield police had followed the defendants to Hartford and allegedly witnessed them purchasing 57 grams of cocaine and concealing it in the hood of Pagano’s 2008 Volkswagen. Officer Terry Manos reported in court documents that officers discovered 57 grams of cocaine in the motor vehicle during the vehicle search.
Lisheness was initially held at the Hampden County House of Correction because he violated the conditions of probation set following his arrest in May, but was released on Oct. 23, 2015 after his mother posted his bail of $3,000.
Assistant District Attorney Magali Montes told Contant in October that she expected all three of the defendants to be indicted in Superior Court.
