WESTFIELD – Juli & Ali Boutique has relocated to a more spacious shop at 24 Elm St.

This boutique focuses on children’s clothing that you can’t find in other stores, including a collection of handmade and knitted clothing primarily for children ages three months to three years. Among the boutique’s popular unique items are adorable rompers and raccoon fur pom hats. Accessories such as barrettes, headbands, bunny purses and baby booties are among the special offerings that keep customers coming back.

Sisters Julia Meyko and Alisa Sychev own the boutique, with Meyko handling the behind-the-scenes operations of the store and Sychev running and decorating the physical store. They are both Ukrainian immigrants who settled in Westfield over 21 years ago. Shortly after opening their boutique at its original location at 26 North Elm St. it became clear to the sisters that they would need more space to accommodate popular requests for an expanded collection with more sizes.

They jumped at the opportunity to rent their new location at the corner of School Street when it became available. Sychev says that they are delighted with the increased space.

“The new location feels absolutely amazing. We couldn’t be happier in our new place,” said Sychev.

Meyko is a mom of six sons and Sychev has four children and said that all of the items in her store are kid-tested and mom-approved.

“All of the inventory has been first tried on our children,” she said.

As the holidays approach, hours are expected to change, so customers are asked to keep a lookout on Instagram for the boutique’s latest hours and scheduled arrivals. New additions to the collections will include apparel in festive colors and luxury items such as wool coats. Sychev and Meyko are excited by the feedback that they have received from their clients.

“Please stay tuned, we’re getting a lot of suggestions from people; we hear you and we’re trying,” Meyko said.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, customers are encouraged to wear masks and hand sanitizers will be available at the store. For more information or to place orders online, visit www.instagram.com/ juliandaliboutique/ or email [email protected]
