WESTFIELD: Karolina Wawrowski, beloved wife and mother, past peacefully on October 21st at the age of 90. She immigrated from Poland to the United States in November of 1950 with her husband Feliks. They settled in Adams Massachusetts where they worked in the textile mill and gave birth to their son, Stanley. When the mill closed, they followed employment opportunities to settle in Westfield Massachusetts where they lived a happy life until Feliks passed away in 1991. Karolina continued living in Westfield with the loving support of her friends and neighbors until 2012. She then moved to Connecticut to be closer to her son. Her biggest regret was that she never learned to drive a car. She wanted the freedom to come and go without relying on someone else to drive her. As regrets go, that’s not so bad. She leaves her son, Stanley Wawrowski of Middlefield CT, who will miss her greatly everyday. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9AM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Westfield.
