WESTFIELD: 
Katherine M. (Zoucha) Ryan, 96, passed away at home, Monday, January 4, 2016. She was born in Westfield, MA to the late Michael and Mary (Kielbasa) Zoucha and was a graduate of Westfield Schools. She was a sales clerk in the Maine Sales Store in Westfield. Katherine was a member of First Congregational Church she was also a volunteer at Noble Hospital, belonged to the Westfield Women’s Club and she enjoyed gardening and home decorating. Katherine is survived by her loving daughter, Donna L. Goncalves of Westfield, three grandchildren, Randi (Mochak) Kolano and her husband John, Amy (Goncalves) Niles and her husband Jason and Jeffrey Goncalves, four great-grandchildren, Jacob Kolano, Rylee Kolano, Ariana Niles and Ethan Niles and her nephew Bruce Connell. She was predeceased by her three sisters, Jean Zoucha, Helen Zoucha and Sophie Connell and her longtime companion, Edward Freyer. A Visiting hour will be held on Thursday from 11 to 12 AM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085. Burial and funeral services will be private.
