Final weekly winner crowned

NFLlogoIn the words of my fellow research assistant and chief statistician, Melissa Hartman, “and so our epic ride comes to a close.”
Hopefully for the New England Patriots, the journey to Super Bowl 50 will be a successful one, and conclude with a trip to Santa Clara, California. For all of the contestants of our pro football contest, “Beat ‘The Putz’”, another season is in the books.
Dan Hebert, of Westfield won the final weekly prize (a gift certificate to The Tavern Restaurant) with a record of 14-2. Hebert’s 52 tiebreaker total was closest to the final score.
Due to errors on the Week 17 contest form, entrants with incorrect forms were awarded two additional points (a late Christmas gift of sorts) so as not to penalize anyone for our mistake.
Anyone with a record of 7-9 or better in Week 17 qualified for the grand prize drawing, a flat-screen television courtesy of Manny’s TV & Appliances. Details regarding the grand prize drawing will be announced soon. – CP
