Operation “Embrace Positivity” was fun, and a success. Believe in the Patriots and lo and behold – they deliver!
While Patriots quarterback Tom Brady continues to disappoint owners in fantasy football, the legendary New England quarterback continues to shine in “real” game moments with less-than-stellar parts around him. I’m sold.
New England finds itself at home Sunday for the second straight week, taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Should be an automatic win against a team still searching for its Steel City identity.
Another game to keep an eye on is the New York Jets hosting the Brees’ driven New Orleans Saints.
As for Week 8, I managed to pull together an 8-3 record. Still, 34 contest entrants put up marks of 10-1 (9 grand prize qualifiers) and 9-2 (25). Mark Keilbasa won the weekly prize on tiebreaker points (54). It was Kielbasa’s second victory of the season. Congratulations.
