Kelly A. Egan

WINSDOR LOCKS, CT – Kelly Anne (Morris) Egan died peacefully surrounded by family at St. Francis Medical Center in Hartford, CT on July 25, 2020. She was born and grew up in Westfield, MA where she graduated from Westfield High, class of 1978. Kelly was known for her adventurous and fun spirit, always ready to entertain and share a few laughs. She loved cooking for her friends and family, the many cats she had over the years and her crossword puzzles. Kelly spent several years working for the Westfield Public Schools as a crossing guard for Franklin Avenue Elementary, making sure all the kids safely crossed the 4 lanes of Route 20. She eventually left Westfield and landed in Windsor Locks, CT where she worked for Stop and Shop and lived a quiet life with her longtime boyfriend Steven Johnson.

Kelly is pre-deceased by her mother Bernice (Turcotte) Fenton and father, William Morris, both from Westfield. She is survived by her son Michael and his wife Seneca (Denton) Egan, her grandchildren William and Matthew of Westfield, sons Jamie and Joseph of Jackson, WY, her brother Michael and Diane (Bovat) Morris, her nephews Christopher and Conner Morris, her Sister Elizabeth (Morris) Shular, her niece Jessica (Shular) Dunlop and her husband Jeff and her nephew Tyler Perry, all of Westfield, as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles and lifelong friends.

Calling hours will be held from 5-7pm on Friday July 31st at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. A service will follow at 7 pm. Burial will be private in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Connecticut Cat Connection – ctcatconnection.org, Firtionadams.com
