Burke paces Rams
Smith Academy 41, Southwick 28

Hannah Burke led the way for Southwick, scoring nine points. Rams’ Lauren Sussman drained a basket at the buzzer.

Saints tame Tigers
St. Mary’s 48, Westfield Technical Academy 9

Madie Donais exploded for 20 points, and St. Mary’s won convincingly on the road. Jenna Folson led Westfield Technical Academy with four points.

Bombers suffer heartbreaker
East Longmeadow 60, Westfield 59

Westfield’s Olivia Hadla scored a whopping 26 points in a tough loss on the road. Chandler Pedolzky and Kaela Mochak finished with 16 and 13 points, respectively, for the Bombers.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Human, Wahconah turn back Rams
Wahconah 54, Southwick 43

Kevin Huban recorded a game-high 25 points, including three 3-pointers for Wahconah, which raced out to an 18-5 first quarter lead and never backed off.
Connor Roy led Southwick (7-7) with 16 points. Rams’ Cade Billings had eight.
